About Dhara

Future-proofing heritage without erasing its character.

DHARA (meaning Earth) is a heritage-driven, impact-oriented, grassroots conservation initiative that brings together architecture, heritage and tourism to create sustainable, future-ready cultural landscapes. It promotes the adaptive reuse of built heritage, recognising that "the greenest building is the one that already exists," while working to understand, document and acknowledge indigenous cultural landscapes and the living communities that sustain them.
